CH-22/CH-29 Casting Heads

The CH-22 and CH-29 Casing Heads feature a straight bore bowl with a 45°C landing shoulder, designed to protect sealing areas from damage by drilling tools and to prevent test plug and bowl protector wedging issues under applied pressure.

Typically, CH-22 and CH-29 Casing Heads are supplied with threaded outlets, while studded outlets are available upon request. Bottom connections are offered in threaded or slip-on configurations for welding applications.

The CH-29 Casing Head maintains the same dependable design as the CH-22, with an extended bowl length to accommodate the CG-29 casing hanger, allowing for a higher load capacity suitable for deeper drilling applications.

TC and TCM Tubing Heads

The TC and TCM Tubing Heads are designed with a straight bore bowl and a 45°C landing shoulder, which protects sealing areas from potential damage caused by drilling tools and prevents the tubing hangers, bowl protectors, and test plugs from wedging. The secondary seal for the final casing string can be configured as either an integrated 'OO' seal or a plastic injection type, with compatibility for reducer bushings in the '4-0' and pressure-energized 'PE' types.

The upper flange is equipped with lockdown screws to facilitate pack off re-energization and ensure secure tubing hanger retention. The lower flange includes a grease fitting and an orifice to enable secondary seal testing.

The TCM Tubing Head is optimized for single completions, while the TC model is engineered for dual completions.

This versatile straight-bore design, featuring a 45°C landing shoulder, safely supports maximum load capacities. Body materials are available to meet the demands of severe service environments. Outlets are offered in two distinct types: line pipe outlets and flanged outlets with studded pads.

 

Casing Hanger

CG-21 Casing Hanger

The CG-21 Casing Hanger integrates slips, a slip bowl, and an H-type pack-off seal ring into a single unit. The H-type pack-off creates a secure annular seal once the casing is suspended and trimmed.

 

CG-22 Casing Hanger

The CG-22 wrap-around Casing Hanger combines the pack-off, slip bowl, and slips into a single, efficient design. Upon suspension of the casing load, the pack-off automatically seals the casing annulus below the slips. With controlled friction, the CG-22 minimizes casing deflection, offering easy installation and cost-effectiveness.

 

CG-29 Casing Hanger

Designed for high load capacity with minimal casing deflection, the CG-29 Casing Hanger features upper slips that, upon moving downward, activate the pack-off while the non-tapered lower slips engage automatically, applying controlled compression. Unlike traditional tapered slips, the lower slips do not move down the pipe, thereby avoiding excessive compressive forces. This design significantly reduces casing deflection and provides superior hanging capacity compared to conventional hangers.

 

TG-2W Tubing Hanger

The T-2W Wrap-Around Tubing Hanger is engineered to securely manage the tubing/casing annulus while permitting tubing reciprocation.

TG-M Tubing Hanger

The TG-M Tubing Hanger is a high-capacity, mandrel-style hanger rated for pressures up to 15,000 psi. The hanger design is specifically engineered to be compatible with the bowl it lands in and the adapter to which it attaches.

To simplify pairing, tubing hangers and tubing head adapters are identified by specific nomenclature. For the TG-M model, the "T" denotes the tubing head bowl design, while the "M" refers to the tubing hanger itself.

 

Secondary Seal

PE Secondary Seal PE

The PE Secondary Seal is inserted at the bottom of a casing or tubing spool and secured with a snap wire. The seal is activated when the spool is installed over the casing stub and the flange connection is tightened. Available in both standard API casing sizes and custom sizes, the PE Secondary Seal is engineered to deliver safe, reliable performance in pressure applications up to 5,000 psi.

 

DOUSON-API 6a Gate Valve Feature

The DOUSON Gate Valve is designed to meet the demand for a high-quality, reliable valve at a competitive price point. Constructed with advanced materials and modern manufacturing techniques, it is easy to maintain and adheres to international design standards and rigorous Quality Assurance protocols. Each DOUSON Gate Valve is manufactured to meet or exceed API 6A specifications and is produced in a facility certified to API Q1 and ISO 9001 standards.

Forged or Cast Body & Bonnet

All gate valve bodies and bonnets are manufactured using forged or cast AISI 4130/4140 low alloy steel or AISI 410 stainless steel. For extreme service applications, alternative materials such as Inconel and Duplex stainless steel are available upon request.

Metal-to-Metal Seat-to-Body Interface

Precision-lapped surfaces between the gate and seat ensure a secure, metal-to-metal pressure-tight seal. Both surfaces of the seat are carefully lapped to create a precise seal between the body and seat. This seal is further enhanced with a Teflon or Viton lip seal, delivering bubble-tight sealing performance at pressures below 10 psi.

Slab Gate & Seat Design

The fully floating seat design, combined with a solid slab gate, provides a dependable downstream seal with minimal operating force, resulting in smooth and efficient valve operation.

 

Model SG-22 Slab Gate Valve

The Model SG-22 high-performance, bi-directional slab gate valve is specifically designed for high-pressure, critical service applications ranging from 3,000 to 20,000 psi, making it ideal for wellheads, production trees, and manifolds.

Specifications

The standard Model SG-22 gate valve meets the latest API 6A and/or API 6D SSV requirements by utilizing a slab gate in place of the expanding gate. Materials are suitable for H₂S service, in compliance with the latest edition of NACE MR-01-75.
